Qualifications
Nataly Georgieva, Registered Dietitian (RD), MScFN
Nataly Georgieva graduated from the Master of Science in Foods & Nutrition (MScFN) program at Brescia University College, Western University. As the MScFN program is accredited by Dietitians of Canada, Nataly completed her dietetic internship at various placements to become a Registered Dietitian (RD).
In addition, Nataly is licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of Dietitians of Canada.
History
Scarborough native, Nataly, previously worked for an outpatient eating disorder clinic, where she supported eating disorder clients of all ages (and their families) at all stages of their recovery, including those waiting to be admitted into a hospital-based program and those who have recently been discharged.
During her dietetic internship, Nataly completed placements at the Diabetes Education Centre – St. Joseph’s Healthcare in London, Public Health – Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU), Eating Disorders Unit – Ontario Shores, amongst others. As a result, she gained experience in the following areas: diabetes, eating disorders, food industry, public health, multi-organ transplant and long-term care.
Naturally, such a well-rounded experience allowed her to develop strong skills in working with diverse patient populations. On account of these experiences, Nataly is well-equipped to help clients manage a variety of conditions.
As a Registered Dietitian and nutrition consultant, Nataly helps clients in achieving their nutrition-related goals by providing personalized solutions, evidence-based practice and supportive coaching that is second to none.
Because Nataly’s dedication to the realm of eating disorders and disordered eating is second to none, she regularly takes part in professional development in the area to stay up-to-date with the latest methods. For example, Nataly completed a year-long eating disorder course, EDforRDs, gaining invaluable expertise in the area.
Last, Nataly enjoys and excels in various speaking roles, virtual lunch and learn presentations, workshops and radio and television appearances.
