Carlyne Remedios, RD, Msc
Carlyne Remedios is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, bringing over a decade of expertise in clinical nutrition and dietetics. She holds a Master’s degree in Dietetics from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Mumbai, India.
History
A recognized leader in bariatric nutrition, Carlyne is the lead author of the ‘Bariatric Nutrition Guidelines for the Indian Population’ and has completed Caliber: Canadian Advanced Learning in Bariatric Care, equipping her with the latest knowledge in obesity management and advanced bariatric nutrition care.
Her diverse experience includes managing obesity, metabolic diseases, digestive disorders, and pre- and post-surgical nutrition care. Having lived and studied across multiple countries, Carlyne brings a global perspective to her practice, offering personalized nutrition advice tailored to various cultural backgrounds.
She believes that nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, she focuses on small, realistic changes that fit seamlessly into a client’s lifestyle, making healthy eating sustainable, enjoyable, and effective in the long term.
One of Carlyne’s greatest strengths is her ability to translate complex nutrition concepts into simple, actionable steps, ensuring that healthy eating feels effortless and achievable. Her approach is rooted in education, empowerment, and practicality, helping clients feel confident in making informed food choices that support their overall well-being.
