History
Kelly is a Registered Dietitian and personal trainer with a passion for helping clients of all ages reach their health and fitness goals, while improving their relationship with food. Kelly’s philosophy of practice centres around educating and empowering clients using an evidence-based, client-centred approach to optimize health and longevity through diet, exercise, and behaviour modification.
Kelly has seen how conflicting messages and health misinformation can lead many individuals down a path of extreme dieting and poor body image, and has since made it her mission to help clients put an end to “yo-yo” dieting. Her work with clients focuses on building muscle and strength to support healthy aging, longevity, and sports performance.
Kelly loves supporting fitness enthusiasts, athletes, and busy professionals reclaim or optimize their health while getting fit in a fun, enjoyable, and sustainable way.
Living with Type 1 Diabetes since childhood, Kelly understands first-hand the challenges that come with managing a chronic condition while striving for sports performance goals. As an avid weightlifter herself focused on body building and powerlifting, Kelly leads with a “food is fuel” mentality and understands the crucial role of nutrition to optimize results.
When not working, you can find Kelly testing out new recipes in the kitchen, exploring new restaurants, and hitting PR’s in the gym.
Kelly has 4 years of professional experience working in bariatrics and sports nutrition. Kelly currently works in private practice and as a clinical dietitian at Toronto Western Hospital.
