Registered Dietitian Job Position 1–this position has been filled

Registered Dietitian

Description:

We are looking for a registered dietitian (with a fitness and sports nutrition focus, specifically for strength training, muscle building, body composition and macro optimization support) to join the team, at first part-time, potentially leading to increased hours. Experience preferred. Contract work.

Perfect for a motivated dietitian looking to practise privately with growth potential. $37.50-42.50/hour to start, depending on experience.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition
  • Member in good standing of the College of Dietitians of Ontario (or willingness to register at own cost) registration with another additional provincial college is an asset)
  • Proficiency in English (bilingualism an asset)
  • Strong background and experience in sports nutrition, particularly support for strength training, muscle building, body composition and macro optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt/prioritize in a constantly changing environment
  • Candidate should be articulate, professional, personable, empathetic, competent problem-solver
  • Candidate should have the ability to work well independently
  • Prompt and proactive communication
  • Familiarity with video-conferencing platforms

 

Duties:

  • Provides patient care in accordance with all professional and organizational standards
  • Provide evidence-based, high-quality, specialized nutritional care unique to each individual to help reach specific, individualized goals
  • Create personalized and detailed meal and exercise plans aimed at improving fitness level and athletic performance
  • Work with recreational, competitive and elite athletes of all ages (including adolescents), genders and walks of life
  • Implement nutritional guidelines in accordance with company’s internal policy
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutritional science research and best practices related to nutrition

Registered Dietitian in Manitoba and Quebec (2 separate positions)

Description:

We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to join the team, at first part-time, potentially leading to increased hours.

Experience mandatory. Contract work.

Must be a Registered Dietitian.

Should have some experience and proficiency in the following areas: weight loss counsellingdigestive health and women’s health. Proficiency in other additional areas are considered assets.

Registered Dietitian in Ottawa, Ontario

Description:

We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to join the team, at first part-time, potentially leading to increased hours.

Experienced preferred. Contract work.

Must be a Registered Dietitian.

The work involves mostly virtual counselling. The candidate, however, must be able to counsel on-site, in-person from the JM Nutrition Ottawa office, maximum one evening per week  (Tuesday) and only if needed. 

Perfect for a motivated dietitian looking to practise privately with growth potential. $40-45/hour to start, depending on experience.
