History

Megan is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick and has always had a strong interest in food and science. After completing a co-op placement in high school with a local Dietitian, Megan knew this was the field for her. Throughout her undergraduate studies she was able to further enhance her food and nutrition knowledge, which allows her to practice today through an evidence-based and client-centred lens.

As an athlete herself, Megan has seen firsthand the importance that proper nutrition can have athletic training and recovery. Megan loves breaking down the basics with her clients to find the balance between nutrient dense foods and ones they really enjoy! She is realistic when it comes to creating change with her clients and understands that for most people this is balancing proper nutrition on top of a balanced lifestyle. One of her main goals with clients is to increase their nutrition knowledge and self-confidence so that they may navigate the ever-changing world of nutrition information.

When she is not counselling clients, Megan spends her time training in the gym as a powerlifter, trying out new recipes in the kitchen or spending time with her friends and pets.
