Qualifications

Stephanie Metzger, R.H.N., BSc. HK

Steph graduated with honours from the University of Guelph where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. Her main areas of focus included human physiology, neuromuscular physiology, human anatomy, biomechanics, human biology, nutrition, exercise, and metabolism.

Steph’s passion for nutrition and helping others improve their health inspired her to further her education at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where she obtained a designation in Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

History

Holistic nutritionist, Stephanie, has been in the health and wellness industry for over 20 years. She has worked as a personal trainer and kinesiologist in the past. She has also worked for a number of natural health product companies in the areas of research, marketing and sales. Steph has been practicing as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist for over 12 years working one on one with her clients to help them make positive lifestyle changes and attain their goals.

Steph works with her clients to help them make a true lifestyle change, something they will enjoy and be able to maintain long term. She takes a holistic approach and looks at your mental, emotional, and physical health, your current nutrition and lifestyle, your family history, as well as any health concerns that you may have. This holistic assessment will help her understand your goals, identify the root cause of any symptoms and health concerns that you may have and allow for a more personalized plan to help improve your health and get you positive results. Steph has your best interests at heart and will do what it takes to ensure that you are happy and confident throughout your journey!

She recognizes that everyone is unique and will provide you with customized advice and guidance as well as the knowledge, tips, tools and accountability to keep you on track. Steph will help you understand portions, teach you how to make good food choices each day, and will also ensure that you have a variety of meal and snack ideas and recipes, as well as a solid meal plan to keep you motivated. She focuses on incorporating a variety of whole foods that will provide your body with the nourishment it needs for optimal health and that will help reduce the risk of disease. Steph believes that small changes over time will lead to big results, and she will encourage you to take things one day at a time as you work towards your goals.
